Where the whole world was waiting for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus launch, people forgot about another contender who was upgraded and presented at the launch event; Apple Watch Series 2. The successor of Apple Watch, Apple Watch Series 2 is loaded with new features like better water resistance, which is 50m. Now your Apple Watch can withstand a pressure of 50 atmosphere under water. The speakers installed in it are installed with the mechanism of flushing out all the water which enters in it.

The new Apple Watch Series 2 comes with the S2 chip which works on a dual-core processor and evidently  works 50% faster than the previous version. The new GPU offers twice the graphic performance and the apps work at the rate of 60 frames/sec.

The new Apple Watch is composed of a blend of Aluminium, stainless steel and Ceramic, which proves to be harder than stainless steel. Therefore, no matter how hard you work on your fitness, the new Watch Series 2 will keep up in all conditions.

The display of this new model is a second-generation display with double the brightness and clarity than the previous model. It has a 1000 nits brightness, which is the brightest display Apple has ever shipped on any of its products.

The devise runs on the Watch OS3 and has a built-in GPS, which is capable of tracking your movements and assist better in tracking your workout.

Apart from the Apple Watch Series 2, a new product was also announced; the Apple Watch Nike+; a joint venture of Apple and Nike. It is said to be the ideal fitness partner and just by asking Siri to start tracking, will start the run and its tracking.

Apple Watch Series 2 will start fro. A price of 369$. You must be wondering what happened to the Apple Watch; well it just got renamed to Apple Watch Series 1 and will now be powered by dual core processor with the price of 269$.

Both the watches will be available on pre-order from September 9th, and the availability is from September 13th.
