The smartphone market catered to the needs of budget phone seekers in April. Now it is time to gear up for new phones from the likes of Google Pixel, OnePlus, Honor, and Samsung.
Google’s flagship phones similar in design to the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL will now be available in the mid-budget range. The Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will be launched on 8th May. The Pixel 3a will sport a 5.56-inch display whereas Pixel 3a XL will sport a 6-inch display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 will power both phones and they will have 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. The USP of Pixel phones is the camera and both these phones will have a 12.2 MP rear camera + 8MP front camera.
Next, we have the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro, scheduled to launch on 14th May. The OnePlus 7 will have a 6.4-inch display, whereas, the OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a 6.64-inch Super Optic AMOLED display. The OnePlus 7 Pro will boast of a pop-up selfie camera. The Snapdragon 855 chipset will power both phones and they will run on Android 9.0 Pie.
Samsung Galaxy M40 is expected to have a triple camera setup and a Super AMOLED display. Samsung will launch it on 13th May.
After the success of MiA1 and MiA2, Xiaomi is all set to launch MiA3. We expect Xiaomi MiA3 to have a Snapdragon 700 processor, an in display fingerprint sensor and triple camera setup. Lastly, Huawei’s Honor will launch Honor 20 & Honor 20 Pro on 21st May. Photos of Honor 20 Pro with a punch hole selfie camera are doing the rounds on the internet. Moreover, it may also have a rear quad camera setup.
