Google Pixel 2 XL is a successor to Google Pixel XL and has the same camera, dual speakers and processor. The difference is in the size of display, it’s type, the size of battery and the hardware design.

Google Pixel 2 XL’s price in India is Rs. 73,000 for the 64GB variant whereas the 128GB variant is for 82000.
It will be available from over 1,000 offline stores in India and you can buy it online exclusively from Flipkart. The pre order begins from 26th October 2017 and it will go on sale from 15th November 2017.
Let’s take a look at the specifications:
The screen is 6 inch tall and almost twice the width with an aspect ratio of 18:9 . It has an AMOLED display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440. It has slimmer bezels and the corners are rounded yet it is not entirely borderless compared to iPhone X. With these specs it is easy for one handed operations and it also caters well to the virtual reality apps.
Google says that the Pixel 2 XL will feature an “always-on display” that will show the time, currently playing song, & other information without the need to press anything.
The Pixel 2 XL comes in 2 colors, one being only Black and the other being Black and White.
The phone has front facing dual stereo speakers but no 3.5mm audio jack. To take care of this Google has announced wireless headphones called Pixel Buds.
The Pixel 2 XL has a 12MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and a front facing 8 MP camera f/2.4 aperture.
The Google Pixel 2 XL has the Snapdragon 835 processor and runs on 4GB RAM. It does not support external memory card.
It has a Non-removable Li-Ion 3520 mAh battery.
This phone is IP67 certified – dust & water resistant.
The new phone will run Android’s latest version Oreo.
